Dr Steiner is a combination of Scientist, Healer, and Professional that places your heath as the primary focus of his immense Educational and Practical skill. I fully trust my Heart and my Health with him.

As a mother, I am very satisfied with Dr. Carballo. My daughter has a mild disability due to a rare condition and requires specialized care. I chose Dr. Carballo because he treats her as an important patient, and I am grateful for his support. Unfortunately, I do not have direct access to speak with him about these office issues. While not all of the office ladies are difficult, my last two calls left me feeling poorly treated. It felt as though we were not being treated well simply because I am going through a difficult financial time right now. To the staff in the office: I hope you never find yourselves in my position. The administration here is unacceptable. Patients must track their own refills, and we often wait over two days for a response to the pharmacy. Recently, the staff called to confirm an appointment but then said they had to check with the manager to see if we could attend due to an open balance. The manager never called back to confirm or cancel. Now, the office is charging me a $25 no-show fee for an appointment they never confirmed. It makes me very sad to say goodbye to Dr. Carballo. Thank you very much for your support and for helping my daughter.

Very thorough & comprehensive. However, the diagnostic tests at the Hollywood office were difficult for me and the Nuclear Stess test was at 8:00 am which will require me up by 5:45.

Dr. C and Elizabeth are excellent. However, some of the referrals, such as for sleep apnea are less then desirable and with providers without good reviews. I was told I would have a home study mailed to me, and that hasn't materialized, yet.

I've have been seeing Dr Mitchell Cohen since 2018, & trust him 100 percent! There isn't enough money that someone could hand me, for me to go to another Cardiologist! Wonderful experience all around! From the front desk girls, to the nurses, to Dr. Cohen himself. I have felt welcomed and listened to here, when these days, that seems to be a rare occurrence. Dr. Cohen is great!!! But his staff is horrible. They dont care about your health, especially if you have a balance.. I spoke to his staff today and they told me I had a $261.00 balance. I told them okay. whatever, dont know where the balance comes from and they told me I COLD NOT see the doctor until I paid the balance. Okay, here is my credit card number bill me for the balance and I will speak to your billing department at a later date . So when can I see Dr. Cohen, Who is my Cardiologist. Today is Thursday, July 24, 2025, I explained that due to my previous AFIB, Twice and my cardiac ablation, my blood pressure is extremely high and I think I might have a medical issue. They tried to schedule me for an appointment for next week, August 1, 2025. I told them thats not good, my heart is going crazy.. BP over 1790/133 consistently!! They did not care, said that is the soonest they could get me in. Understand I am not one to rush or even go to a doctor but not comfortable with my current heart rate. So I will monitor my situation and figure this out.. Cohens staff are not looking out for the welfare of the patients.. Be careful with this office.. If you can get past his idiotic staff and get to the doctor you will be good!!!

I called on 7/1/24 to confirm my & my partner’s appointment for 7/3/24. The young lady confirmed, told me the would be $35, my partner no cost because he was getting his results from a previous visit. When we arrived today the receptionist said we both had to pay $65. I tried to tell what I was told. She was rude in her attitude. My partner paid, I didn’t. I canceled. The next patient had the same issue, he canceled and left. It is amazing, they lost 2 new patients. I really question the Doctor’s ability. If he can’t be on top of his office, I can’t see him. Really sad.

Very bad and unprofessional customer service!!! The doctor treated me like I was a waste of time, he even made fun of me on my last visit. He said to me from the office hallway "you are alive, there is nothing wrong with your heart" . He didn't enter the room and left the nurse who was not able to explain anything to me. I felt ignored. Every patient must be treated with respect and professionalism! After the visit, I still have the same symptoms and want a second opinion. I called the office requesting a copy of more detailed information of a cardiac monitor I had on for a week because the results they gave me only recorded a few seconds at 12 am each day. The lady answering the phone calls was very rude and just said "that is not possible because that is the only record we have". Hard to believe! there must be a computer checking your heart every second for a week. Unless they just wanted to take my money because I paid out of my pocket. She suddenly cut off my conversation and put me on hold for a long time without asking me. Then she answered again and did not apologize. Frustrated with the service I received, I requested for the office manager and according to her, the manager was not available. She said she will notify the manager and the manager will call me back. The Manager NEVER called me despite the many times I called asking why no one has called me back. I may not be an elderly but I am a human and I am concerned about my health. Think twice before going to this cardiologist, unless you need a heart transplant or are dying!!!

Waited a long time. After my echo cardigram they put me in a waiting room next to the room it was taken because there was no available Dr. Steiner’s room. I sat there for a very long time and then went on my own down the hall and asked at the desk when one would be ready. There was an empty one and I was taken care of, immediately.
